Welcome to Geometry HonorsThis geometry honors page is designed to help the students (and their parents) who are enrolled in Mr. Prosser's Honors Geometry class at Conestoga High School. This page is a part of the GradeA math help website, which offers many useful lessons, videos, and downloads for high school students and teachers. Please feel free to browse the resources by clicking on the links at the left. You should be particularly interested in the free geometry help section. Download MathType. Many of the geometry honors worksheets posted on the site have objects created through MathType. If you do not have the program downloaded on your computer, you will not be able to view the worksheet in its correct format. You can download a free trial (and continue to use the Lite Mode) or you can purchase the full product for additional features. For the purpose of this class, the free version is fine. Reset your margins. Many of the worksheets have been created with very small margins (about 0.6 all the way around) to conserve paper. You may need to reset your margins on Microsoft Word to print the document correctly. The final will be given on January 21. Be ready! Please get a TI graphing calculator (83, 83+ or 84) as soon as possible!
Please read the rules & policies for the course as soon as possible. It is imperative that you understand the grading process for the course - in particular, homework will not be checked on a daily basis. Instead, homework will be evaluated based on homework quizzes which will not be announced ahead of time. Please click on the unit to download the packet of notes and handouts. Packets will be distributed in class, but if you need an extra copy, you can download one at any time. There are also additional links, study guides and handouts that will not be distributed in class, but you can download if you choose.
